The short version
What are the Olivaro other ingredients, and why do they matter?
The Olivaro other ingredients are everything in the bottle that is not the chromium or the 200 mg blend. They sit in a separate list under the Supplement Facts panel. Most readers never look at them.
They matter because a dropper is a liquid, and a liquid needs a base. It needs something to carry the extracts, something to sweeten the taste and something to stop it spoiling. It also holds one item that every pet owner should know about.
The six checks below take each part of the list in turn. The label itself is typed out on our Supplement Facts page.
Key facts
What are the key facts about the Olivaro other ingredients?
- The list, in label order: glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract 97% (Reb A), xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid and natural flavors.
- The amount of each is not published. Only the order of the active blend is given, and this list is separate from it.
- No sugar is listed on the label.
- The liquid contains xylitol, which is dangerous to dogs.
- Sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate are preservatives.
- The label makes no vegan, gluten-free or allergen-free claim.
- Serving size is 1 mL (one dropper), 30 servings in a 30 mL bottle.

Check 1: Which Olivaro other ingredients make up the base?
Glycerin and water come first on the list. They make up the liquid body of the drops. Organic lemon extract and citric acid follow, and they add taste and tang.
The label does not say how much of each is used. You cannot work out the share of water or glycerin from the label alone. We will not guess a number.
What we can say is simple. The chromium and the 200 mg blend ride in a 1 mL dropper of liquid. Everything else in that dropper is the base.
Check 2
Check 2: What sweetens the liquid?
Two sweeteners are on the list: stevia extract 97% (Reb A) and xylitol. Natural flavors and lemon extract add to the taste.
Reb A is a high-purity stevia sweetener. FDA has not questioned it as a sweetener (FDA, Aspartame and Other Sweeteners). Xylitol is the second sweetener, and we cover it in check 3.
No sugar is listed. If you count carbohydrates closely, the label does not give a carbohydrate line, so call the order desk on +1 (855) 889-3137 and ask for full nutrition details. Write down the answer.
Check 3
Check 3: Is xylitol in the Olivaro other ingredients a risk?
Xylitol does not act in people the way it acts in dogs. For dogs it is a serious risk. FDA warns that xylitol can cause a fast, dangerous drop in a dog's blood sugar, with signs in 10 to 60 minutes. These include vomiting, weakness, collapse and seizures (FDA, Paws Off Xylitol).
So treat the bottle like a medicine in a house with a dog.
- Store it high and closed.
- Wipe spills with a damp paper towel and bin it in a closed container.
- Do not leave the bottle on a low table, a nightstand or in an open bag.
- If a dog chews the bottle or licks a spill, call your vet or an animal poison line at once.

Check 4
Check 4: What do the two preservatives do?
Sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate are preservatives. Their job here is to help keep the liquid fresh.
The label does not give amounts. It also does not say how long an opened bottle keeps. The label says only to keep away from heat, light and humidity and to store the bottle in a cool, dry place.
If you have a known sensitivity to a preservative, ask your doctor or pharmacist before you start. Take a photo of the other ingredients list to show them.
Check 5
Check 5: Which Olivaro other ingredients are not claimed?
Some claims you may be looking for are not on the label. We do not make them for the maker.
| Question | What the label says |
|---|---|
| Contains sugar? | No sugar is listed |
| Vegan? | No vegan claim is made |
| Gluten-free? | No gluten-free claim is made |
| Allergen-free? | No allergen-free claim is made |
| Amount of each other ingredient? | Not published |
| Shelf life after opening? | Not published |
If any of these matter for your diet or an allergy, ask before you buy. Do not assume.
Check 6
Check 6: Should you ask a doctor about the Olivaro other ingredients?
Most people will find nothing odd in the Olivaro other ingredients. It reads like many liquid supplements. Still, the label asks pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition to talk to a physician first.
The bigger questions sit in the blend, not the base. Ginseng, gymnema, chromium, grapefruit, licorice, coleus, guarana and L-tryptophan all have drug flags. Our side effects page lists them.
Bring a photo of the full label to your pharmacist. They can check the base and the blend against your medicine list in one visit. Olivaro is a dietary supplement. It is not FDA approved, and no supplement is.

Our view
Our view
The Olivaro other ingredients are plain and common for a liquid supplement. The list is short, it is printed in full and it flags nothing alarming for most adults. The one clear warning is xylitol and dogs.
The real gaps are the missing amounts and the lack of a shelf life after opening. Ask about them if they matter to you. This is general information, not medical advice.
