Olivaro Supplement Facts: How Do You Read the Panel?

Quick answer

The Olivaro supplement facts panel shows a 1 mL serving, 30 servings a bottle, 0.7 mcg of chromium and a 200 mg blend of 22 ingredients with no single amounts. Seven checks below show you how to read each line, what is missing and what to ask.

Olivaro supplement facts: the Supplement Facts panel from the Olivaro bottle label
The panel as printed on the bottle. Read the panel, not the front of the bottle.

The short version

Why read the Olivaro supplement facts before you buy?

The Olivaro supplement facts panel is the one part of the bottle the law shapes. The front can say "Balanced Blood Sugar Advanced Support*". The panel has to say what is inside, in a set format.

Most people skip it. That is a mistake, because the panel answers the questions that matter most: how much liquid is a dose, how many doses are in the bottle, and which ingredients have an amount.

This guide takes the panel in seven checks. Each check says what the line means, what it does not mean, and what is not published. For the typed-out label, see our Supplement Facts page.

Key facts

What are the key facts on the Olivaro supplement facts panel?

  • Serving size is 1 mL, which is one full dropper. A bottle holds 30 servings. The bottle is 30 mL (1 fl oz).
  • Chromium (as chromium picolinate) is 0.7 mcg per serving, which is 2% of the Daily Value.
  • The proprietary blend is 200 mg per serving. It lists 22 ingredients, and no single amount is printed.
  • The other ingredients are glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract 97% (Reb A), xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid and natural flavors.
  • Suggested use: "Shake well before each use. Take 1 or 2 droppers full daily." At 2 droppers a bottle lasts 15 days.
  • The label states a made-in-an-FDA-registered-facility line. That is not FDA approval, and no supplement is approved.
  • Distributed by Instituto Experience, as printed. No address or phone number is printed beside the name.

Check 1

Check 1: What are the serving size and servings per container?

Start at the top of the panel. The serving size is 1 mL, one full dropper. There are 30 servings per container.

This is the math behind everything else. At 1 dropper a day the bottle lasts 30 days. At 2 droppers it lasts 15 days. A buyer who plans for 2 droppers needs twice as many bottles as the pack title suggests.

The label gives no time of day and does not mention food. Any timing tip is habit advice, not a rule from the maker.

Check 2

Check 2: What does 0.7 mcg of chromium and 2% DV mean?

Chromium is the only ingredient with its own amount. One dropper gives 0.7 mcg, which the panel calls 2% of the Daily Value. The Daily Value for chromium is 35 mcg (NIH ODS, Chromium).

At 2 droppers a day the total is 1.4 mcg. Studies on blood sugar mostly used 200 to 1,000 mcg a day (NIH ODS, Chromium). So the Olivaro amount is far smaller than the amounts in those studies.

That does not make the amount unsafe, and it does not make it useful. It just means the studies do not apply to this dose. A single label number is a fact. It is not a result.

Check 3

Check 3: What does the 200 mg proprietary blend hide?

In the Olivaro supplement facts, the next line is "Proprietary blend 200 mg". Federal rules let a company print the total weight of a blend and list the items from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)). The panel does that.

What the blend line does and does not tell you.
You can seeYou cannot see
The total: 200 mg in each 1 mLHow much of that total each ingredient takes
22 ingredients, in order of weightWhether any ingredient is near a studied amount
Maca first and L-carnitine lastThe caffeine amount from guarana and green tea
A dagger: no Daily Value is setAny link between the blend and a result

If you split 200 mg evenly across 22 ingredients you get about 9 mg each. That is only an average. The real shares are not printed, and the heaviest ingredients take more than the lightest ones. Our proprietary blends guide goes deeper.

Check 4

Check 4: What are the other ingredients in the liquid?

Below the blend comes a second list: glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract 97% (Reb A), xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid and natural flavors. These make the liquid, sweeten it and keep it fresh.

Two points matter to many buyers. First, no sugar is listed. Second, the liquid contains xylitol, which is dangerous to dogs (FDA, Paws Off Xylitol). The label makes no vegan, gluten-free or allergen-free claim, so we make none.

Amounts for these ingredients are not published.

Check 5

Check 5: What do the directions and cautions say?

The panel sits beside the directions and the caution. Here is what they say, in short:

  • Directions: shake well, take 1 or 2 droppers full daily, place in mouth and swallow.
  • Caution: do not exceed the recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should ask a physician first.
  • Storage: keep away from heat, light and humidity, and keep out of reach of children.
  • Seal: do not use the bottle if the safety seal is damaged or missing.

These lines are written for you. Read them before the first dose, not after.

Check 6

Check 6: What do the asterisks and the FDA statement mean?

The front of the bottle carries four claim lines, each with an asterisk. The asterisk points to the standard FDA statement. It says the statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

In plain words, these are claim words, not test results. The FDA does not approve supplements before they go on sale (FDA, Using Dietary Supplements). The facility line on the label means the plant is on file with the agency. It does not mean the product was reviewed.

Check 7

Check 7: What is missing from the Olivaro supplement facts?

A good panel check ends with the gaps. These items are not published:

  • The amount of each of the 22 blend ingredients.
  • A caffeine amount, though guarana and green tea are on the list.
  • A lab report from an outside lab. The lot and CoA codes are seller references, not lab proof.
  • A study of Olivaro itself.
  • A named certifier for the good manufacturing practice badge.

If any of these matter to you, call the order desk on +1 (855) 889-3137 before you order. Write down the date and the answer.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the serving size in the Olivaro supplement facts?

One serving is 1 mL, which is one full dropper. Each 30 mL bottle holds 30 doses. At 1 dropper a day it lasts 30 days, and at 2 droppers a day it lasts 15 days.

How much chromium is in Olivaro?

One dropper holds 0.7 mcg of chromium as chromium picolinate, which is 2% of the Daily Value. Two droppers give 1.4 mcg. Blood sugar studies used 200 to 1,000 mcg a day.

Why are the blend amounts missing from the Olivaro supplement facts?

Federal rules allow a proprietary blend. The label must show the total weight, here 200 mg, and list the ingredients from most to least by weight. It does not have to show each amount.

Does Olivaro have sugar on the label?

No sugar is listed. The liquid is sweetened with stevia extract (Reb A) and xylitol. If you count carbohydrates closely, ask the order desk on +1 (855) 889-3137 about full nutrition details.

Does the Olivaro label list caffeine?

No amount is listed. Guarana and green tea extract are in the blend, and both are caffeine sources. If you are sensitive to caffeine, ask your doctor before you start.

Is a registered facility the same as FDA approval?

No. The label says Olivaro was made in an FDA registered facility. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold, so no supplement carries approval.

Our view

Our view

The Olivaro supplement facts panel is honest about the basics. It names every ingredient and prints the serving size, the chromium amount and the blend total. Its weak spots are the hidden blend amounts, a very small chromium dose and claim lines with no named certifier.

Read the panel before you read the front, and ask the order desk about anything that is not published. This is general information, not medical advice.
